Our programs are designed to complement existing economic empowerment programs in the areas of workforce training, small business development, and asset building programs for low income households.

SEMINARS

Financial Education Associates seminars are customized to the needs of our clients.  We use our own curriculum in combination with curricula/resources developed by other organizations.

Homebuyer and Homeowner Education — These seminars are designed to help participants become successful homeowners.  Topics include choosing the right mortgage, finding a home, working with real estate professionals,
legal issues in the home purchase process, insurance, and foreclosure prevention.
 
Credit Education — These seminars are designed to help participants understand the crucial role of credit from
A to Z.  Topics covered include debt management, credit repair, budgeting, avoiding scams, and managing banking and credit relationships.

Personal Finance Education — These seminars are designed to help participants create a personal finance strategy.  Topics covered include savings, education planning, estate planning and philanthropic giving.

Teen and College Student Financial Education — It is never too early to plan for one’s financial future! These seminars are designed to educate teens about money to help them avoid financial pitfalls.  Topics covered include credit education, developing a savings habit and personal finance topics delivered in a teen-friendly format.

Affordable Homeownership Marketing —This service includes marketing plans, housing lotteries, and buyer-processing for affordable homeownership units.

Financial Education Program Startup —This service help organizations evaluate their readiness to add financial education or personal asset development programs to existing programming.
