About Financial Education Associates
Financial Education Associates was founded by Jacqueline Cooper in November 2001 to present unbiased information to people seeking to get their finances in order to achieve home ownership and other financial goals.
Participants
We train an average of 1,500 people per year in Greater Boston about a variety of personal financial topics. Since we began in 2001, we have trained more than 12,000 people. We work with people of all income levels. FEA also works with teens and college students.
Participants in Financial Education Associates™ programs have:
- Learned to buy homes.
- Created functional budgets.
- Developed savings plans.
- Repaired credit.
- Aquired credit.
- Learned about various financial institutions (i.e., banks, credit union).
FEA empowers participants to learn how to research information on their own so that they can answer questions that arise and make reasoned decisions about opportunities.
